Tell Her so....

When I am gone
Do tell her of me
I will be behind the clouds
Or perhaps beneath the sea.

Tell her, O
When winter is here
That I am crisp and frozen
Without her care.

Do tell her
of my dream
when I see the beauty of her face
dressed in winter’s lovely cream.

When spring springs
In its mirth and glee
Tell, I shall look for her
in between the trees.

O, convey her
how my song goes
that tells of our past joy
and the present woes.

When heaven darkens and
comes forth the monsoon
Tell her I will come back
and we may meet soon.

With music of thunder
and lightning aside
I will come for her
Riding the high tide.

When autumn is due
with all its clues
Tell I shall be waiting
to feel her hues.

O, convey her
that leaves may fall at nature’s call
But, my love for her
shall never stall.

When I am gone
And all alone is she
I shall still be looking for her

Though hell may engulf me.
